Meet The Captain - From Ink to Light
The Foundation: Litho & Lead My journey didn't start on a screen, but on the factory floor. I cut my teeth in traditional lithographic reprographics—a world of physical plates, CMYK separations, and precision printing. When the first Apple Macs landed in the studio, they weren't just tools; they were the "Big Bang" for my creative universe. I watched the physical world merge with the digital, and I’ve been riding that wave ever since.
The Inspiration: The Neon Pulse As a child of the late 80s and early 90s, my true education happened in the strobe-lit warehouses of the UK rave scene. It wasn’t just the music; it was the visual alchemy. The dazzling lasers, the primitive but powerful motion graphics, and the way light could transform a cold industrial space into a living, breathing experience. That energy became my blueprint.
The Evolution: Captain Stonefish Thirty years of graphic design, illustration, and film have led to this moment. Today, I’ve traded the print shop for a mobile creative laboratory. By merging my life in a custom camper van with high-end projection technology, I’ve created a nomadic studio that can paint any landscape or architecture with light.
The Mission: I don't just "show" visuals; I deploy them. Whether it’s architectural mapping or immersive 3D art, I bring three decades of technical obsession to every experience.
Professional Compliance: Beyond the visuals, I am committed to safe, responsible deployment. I hold an Enhanced DBS check and comprehensive Public Liability Insurance, ensuring peace of mind for public installations, heritage sites, and educational environments. Professional RAMS and insurance certificates are provided with every technical brief.
